Dr. Scott Levenson founded Digestive Care Medical Center in 2003 and has been in practice in the Bay Area for more than 2 decades. Dr. Roger Kao joined the practice in 2007. Their mission together has always been to provide individualized high quality patient care.

Dr. Levenson and Dr. Kao perform a full spectrum of endoscopic services at our newly remodeled, free standing, ambulatory endoscopy center. Our licensed clinical dietician is available on-site to provide individualized nutritional therapy and counseling. Treatment is primarily dedicated to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.  Digestive Care Medical Center is both Medicare certified and accredited by AAAHC- Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The office and endoscopy center are both conveniently located together in downtown San Carlos on Laurel Street.
